1 cup of cooked long grain rice
1 can of beans (black eye, romano, black, navy) rinse off if canned with salt
2 tbsp of red chilli sauce
1 small onion
2 stalks of celery, diced
pepper
garlic to taste
Cook rice
Sautee onion and celery, add beans and garlic, add rice and chilli sauce, pepper.
Fry for together to marry tastes, about 15 min or so. Amounts of ingredients can be changed to desired taste.
Legumes contain more protein than any other plant-derived food. A good source of B vitamins, iron, potassium, zinc and high in soluable fiber. Low in calories and fat.
Long grain rice provide B vitamins and iron. When combined with beans and other legumes it makes a complete protein. High in fiber and also contains selenium, vitamin E, magnesium. phosphorus, and mangnese. Contains trace of fat and no sodium.
Use as side dish or as a complete meal. Variations: add chicken, peppers, okra, broccoli

Ohhh. Like the chili sauce with the seeds in it...sounds like I would like this. Nice and spicy.
