It is quick and provides protein and carbs for a balanced meal.
Preheat frying pan on med heat.
Lightly spread a healthy choice spread on one side of each piece of whole wheat bread. Place both 'buttered' sides down in frying pan, while you place fresh cut cheese...any cheese except processed slices. Cut the cheese to desired thickness and cover one piece of bread. Add spicy mustard on top of cheese. Close the sandwich and continue to cook both sides evenly until golden brown. Watch this closely.
It is simple to change this sandwich up, use any cheese you like, add any type of mustard you wish. You can also add chives, onion, oregano, basil, thyme, crushed red peppers etc.
Be creative and enjoy.

Make it crunchy
There are some creative ways to make the best out of your protein-carbohydrate snacks.
- Add granola to your yogurt. Low fat or nonfat yogurt with some granola mixed in is a great way to get more nutrients from your snack and added fiber. I use Special K granola.
- Sprinkle sunflower seeds on your cottage cheese.
- Add almonds to your salad, just a few on a salad adds the great benefits almonds have to offer.
- Add oat bran to your protein shake. Will help you stay fuller longer and is great for heart health.

This is a great article on WebMD. Could it be that bad? Are we just hoping that all is well and everyone is exaggerating?
